We are HABS_Eclipse, a VEX robotics team from Habs Boys in Elstree made up of a mix of experienced and newer members. We build and program our custom-designed robot through trial, error, and solid teamwork. Scroll down to meet our team members and see what we are working on.
WHAT IS VEX
VEX IQ is a modular robotics construction system, designed to offer challenge and a large number of possibilities. VEX Robotics run a competition for VEX IQ, in which we are competing. Each year, the game is changed, and we have around four months to design, build and code an original robot. This encourages creativity, engineering and lateral thinking, as well as letting us develop important skills for the future such as coding, technical writing and engineering. VEX is more than a competition, it is an opportunity to develop skills, it is experience.
